In Astroneer, the only structures that players can construct are buildings. There are five basic materials that you can use to build these structures: titanium, steel, glass, aluminum, and copper. These materials are used in the construction of everything from simple scaffolding to complex solar panels. With these materials at your disposal, you will be able to create some really great structures!
Create a plan for your house
If you want to build a small house, you will need around 500 units of each material. If you want to build a large house, you will need around 2000 units of each material.
Once you have decided on the size of your house, it’s time to start collecting materials. The best way to do this is by using your rover to explore the surrounding area. You may also find some materials lying on the ground, but be careful not to collect too much of one type, as this can slow down your construction process.
The frame is the basic structure of your house. To construct it, simply select the “Frame” option from the building menu and click on the ground to construct a square. Once you have completed this, you can start adding on to it.
Build up your house
In order to build up your house, select the “Layer” option from the building menu and choose an outer wall material. There are two types of walls: one that allows sunlight into your house and one that blocks all light. To make your house completely enclosed (with no windows), select the “Exterior Wall” option and choose a material that blocks all light.
Build the foundation of your house
The foundation of your house is very important, as it will determine the stability of your structure. To build it, select the “Foundation” option from the building menu and click on the ground. You will then need to select a material for your foundation. The best materials to use are titanium or steel, as they are the strongest.
Once you have constructed your foundation, you can start building up your house.

Add ceilings and floors
